- FOCUS: Prioritize, make a plan and focus your energy on one thing at a time.
- PARTNERSHIP: Figure out what others are already doing, or can do, and approach them to do it for/with you. Know WHY they would want to partner with you.
- GRATITUDE vs. THE ASK: The model is changing- we need to think of new ways to thank our community, and raise money, without hosting a gala black-tie event.
- MESSAGE: Get the right story to the right targets. First you have to identify the targets, and then create a plan to reach them.
- HUMANITY: Don’t lose the human factor- people ARE media.
